This beautiful stone cottage is part of a small complex near the Welsh town of Porthmadog. The two-bedroom detached property, situated in the rolling Welsh countryside, is surrounded by stunning views and is close to beautiful beaches. The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog is nearby with plenty of independent shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Porthmadog is also home to the Welsh Highland Railway, where you can travel by steam through spectacular Snowdonia Mountains.
You can also experience the magic at Portmeirion Village which is just a short drive along the coast. Portmeirion is a tourist village built between 1925 and 1975 in the style of an Italian village and is now owned by a charitable trust. With its stunning architecture, woodland gardens and stunning coastal views, all surrounded by wonderful sandy beaches, it is a must-visit if you are staying in the area. Other attractions nearby include the castles at Criccieth and Harlech as well as the famous Zip World Slate Caverns and Bounce Below, where you can have a go on the thrilling zip wires and explore the underground caverns. Located in the small coastal town of Porthmadog, this beautiful end-of-terrace stone cottage is ideally situated just a short walk from all the local shops and amenities as well as the Porthmadog Harbour. You will certainly have everything you might need during your stay within easy reach of the property. These wonderful Porthmadog cottages were created from the original quayside warehouses so are located right on the harbourside, ideal for crabbing when the tide is in and bustling with boats beyond.
Just across the harbour bridge, you will find the world-famous narrow-gauge heritage railway, Rheilffordd Ffestiniog, which offers spectacular trips into the Snowdonian mountains. The Welsh Highland Railway also runs from the same station via the pretty riverside village of Beddgelert to Caernarfon, offering spectacular views along the way.

Porthmadog, the Ffestiniog Railway or the Italianate village of Portmeirion are all within easy reach of this holiday cottage.

This fabulous apartment is perched on the coast in a central location in Porthmadog with stunning sea views and luxurious interiors, easily making this one of our top holiday homes in the area. You will find plenty of great pubs, restaurants, shops and cafes in Porthmadog itself, meaning you will have everything you might need right on your doorstep.
If you’d like to journey a little further, head to the seaside resort of Harlech. Relax in the sun on its golden sandy beach, and visit the glorious Harlech Castle – a great day out for the whole family. A short drive away you will find the lovely town of Caernarfon, where history fans will enjoy visiting the town walls and the 13th Century fortress of Caernarfon Castle as well as exploring the delightful Coed Cadnant forest.
