We were thrilled to see this stylish timber lodge still had good late availability – just wait until you check out its modern and bright interior.
One of the best lodges in Scotland for visiting the stunning town of Oban, nestled on the West Coast, the town has long been a favourite resort and is full of traditional seaside delights. Not only can you have a romantic stroll down the beautiful Harbour Promenade, there’s also the famous Oban Distillery to visit.
After a great day whiskey tasting – when in Scotland, eh? – you can bring a bottle back to your secluded log cabin. There’s a private hot tub at The River Lodge, so you’re bound to have a special time with your other half.

There are 10 log cabins in this peaceful development, so you could always book multiple properties if you’re looking for a retreat with your extended family and friends.
This particular detached holiday cottage is nestled at the end of the cul-de-sac, so has a nice private feel to it. You’ll find the lodges in the beautiful village of Aultbea, which has some lovely dining options if you’re looking for dinner plans close by.
On top of that, the larger Gairloch village is just 12 miles away, and you can even go whale spotting on boat trips from the harbour!
