What a great way to see the UK in what promises to be a very special year. Did you know that:
- The Queen shares her Diamond Jubilee year with the North Yorkshire Moors national park, which was first established in 1952. From only £10pp you can stay at a caravan park in North Yorkshire and explore this amazing region.
- The emblematic Olympic Torch is being carried across Britain through the month of June. The journey passes within 10 miles of 95% of the country, so why not turn the Torch Relay into an excuse for a holiday and stay at a caravan park that’s on the route. Here’s a map of the Olympic Torch journey.
- 2012 is the Bicentenary for Charles Dickens, one of our greatest authors – so why not take this as an excuse to take a short break caravan holiday to catch-up on one or two of the books that you’ve been meaning to read all year? You could even try a Dickens for the first time.
