This incredible pet-friendly property is located in the small Norfolk village of Southrepps on the North Norfolk coast. The village has a well-stocked supermarket as well as the welcoming Vernon Arms pub, which serves great food and local ales. A few miles down the road, you will find the popular seaside town of Cromer. With its beautiful beach, bustling pier, the RNLI Henry Blogg Museum, the historic lighthouse, an excellent golf club and the popular Amazona Zoo, there is so much to do that it is well worth a visit during your stay at High House.

Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, this property is full of character and traditional features, including original oak doors, preserved floors and open fireplaces. However, despite thsee characterful parts, the property doesn’t lack in modern amenities. You will find several smart TVs in the property with Sky, DVD players, WiFi and Amazon Echos, so there is plenty of entertainment available on cold and wet evenings. This wonderful lodge has been hand-built by the owner and offers a tranquil escape in the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Situated on the edge of a lake within a private estate, the property offers a real piece of tranquillity and privacy. Just a few minutes’ walk away, you will find the village of East Harling with a village store, post office, two pubs and a fish & chip shop, so you have everything you could need right on your doorstep while still being in a truly secluded place.
Facilities: On the estate, you will find the River Thet running through as well as a one-acre lake where specimen fishing is available. Nearby you will find Banham Zoo and Thetford Forest as well as excellent off road cycling, wildlife, and walking routes, so there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy. Just ten minutes away by car is Snetterton motor racing circuit, an absolute must for motorsport fans. This 18th-Century brick and flint terraced farm cottage is located just a 5-minute walk from the heart of Swaffham. The Georgian market town is an attractive, family (and dog) friendly town which is at the Northern point of the Brecks, an area of outstanding natural beauty that stretches across Norfolk and Suffolk. Here you will find a weekly market as well as regular Farmers Markets, so you can pick up some local food for your dinner. It is also home to the EcoTech Centre where you can climb up the 300 steps inside a wind turbine to enjoy the views that stretch as far as Ely, as well as explore the beautiful organic gardens.
