The UK is blessed with inspiring attractions for a June holiday, so we followed Wallace & Gromit on their ‘Get Packing’ adventure for Visit England to find out where they go for an early summer getaway.
Wonderful walks
There are many amazing walking routes throughout the UK, and one of our favourites is the Wales Coastal Path – unique because it’s the only walking trail that stretches along a country’s entire coastline. Wallace & Gromit had a ‘Wales’ of a time, once they’d found the right route!

The UK is a land of myths and legends and spooky stories, none more famous than the story of Nessie. Sadly no sightings for Wallace & Gromit – at least not until they take a good look at the holiday photos.

If you have a head for adventure (or little ones who need entertaining), visiting one of the UK’s amazing theme parks outside of the school holidays means you can enjoy the very best rides over and over again, without the bother of big queues. Wallace’s teeth are still chattering!

Ever fancied riding a wave – it’s never too late to learn? There are numerous surf schools along the Cornish coast and you’ll be joined by loads of wet-suited surfers making the most of the waves, whatever the time of year.

Is there a historic home you’ve always wanted to see but never taken the time to? In the UK you can find everything from grand castles to majestic cathedrals to stately homes. After their visit to York Castle, Wallace & Gromit were really getting into the spirit of things!
