Looking for campsites and caravan parks near the Eden Project?
Aside from the amazing beaches and the famous Cornish pasty, the region of Cornwall hosts one of the UK’s most popular attractions – the Eden Project. What was once a 35-acre china clay quarry, has now been transformed into the home of two breath-taking biomes containing over 3000 different plant species from regions across the world such as the Mediterranean, South Africa and California.
Seaview Holiday Village, situated between the pretty harbour villages of Polperro and Looe on Cornwall’s south coast is approximately a 30-minute drive from the attraction. This park is perfect for those who are looking for caravan parks or campsites near the Eden Project and being based so close to the historic fishing villages you have such a short distance to travel to see some of the country’s award-winning attractions.
The Eden Project is normally open from 9:30am-6pm, with opening until 8pm on summer weekends (full opening times can be found here), however the biomes often close early so it pays to arrive early. The ticket desk opens half an hour before the biomes and the carpark is open half an hour before then. If you’re the type of person who doesn’t like to miss out and want to get your money’s worth, we strongly suggest getting there early to beat the crowds!
