Located on a beautiful stretch of sandy beach on the North Wales coast near Prestatyn, this is a truly unique holiday park with all the facilities and attractions that you could possibly want for a great family holiday. As well as the stunning beach right on your doorstep, there is also the nearby SSSI of Gronant Dunes and Talacre Warren, which is a haven for wildlife, including the rare sand lizard and the natterjack toad.

The facilities, activities and entertainment at Haven Presthaven will not disappoint either. With an indoor and outdoor pool, you can float along on the lazy river or get a little more excitement whooshing down the water slides. If you prefer dry land but are still looking for that burst of adrenaline, head over to the Aerial Adventure course for a spot of high ropes, have a go on the bungee trampolines or face the climbing wall. There’s also an indoor SportsDrome, an all-weather multi-sports court, adventure golf and a FunWorks amusement arcade. No matter what your age, ability or interest, Haven Presthaven really does have the lot!

Facilities: Haven Presthaven holiday park has a range of caravans to suit all budgets and needs, including a large selection of dog-friendly caravans. All caravan accommodation includes bed linen, a fridge and microwave, a TV in the lounge, a shower room and WC, gas, water and electricity. All dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times, although they will have the freedom of the beach which is a stunning 5 miles of rich golden sands. Your furry friends will love it!

The fully equipped kitchen means that you will have everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday that you and your dogs are sure to never forget.

Just 2o minutes from the Swansea Bay coastline, the area is a nature lover’s paradise, with endless stretches of golden sandy beaches to explore, many of which are dog-friendly. The Victorian seaside resort of Mumbles is also nearby, with its wonderful promenade, shops, cafes and restaurants, making it a great day out for all the family. The National Showcaves of Wales, the Vale of Neath’s spectacular waterfalls and Afan Forest Park, home to five world-class trails for mountain biking enthusiasts, are also all nearby. This beautiful stone cottage is part of a small complex near the Welsh town of Porthmadog. The two-bedroom detached property is situated in a beautiful location in the rolling Welsh countryside, surrounded by stunning views and positioned close to award-winning beaches. The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog is nearby, with plenty of independent shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Porthmadog is also home to the Welsh Highland Railway, where you can travel by steam through the spectacular Snowdonia Mountains.

You can also experience the magic at Portmeirion Village which is just a short drive along the coast. Portmeirion is a tourist village built between 1925 and 1975 in the style of an Italian village and is now owned by a charitable trust. With its stunning architecture, woodland gardens and stunning coastal views, all surrounded by wonderful sandy beaches, it is a must-visit if you are staying in the area. Other attractions nearby include the castles at Criccieth and Harlech as well as the famous Zip World Slate Caverns and Bounce Below, where you can have a go on the thrilling zip wires and explore the underground caverns.

Facilities: This picturesque farmhouse can sleep up to six guests in two superb bedrooms and is perfect for a family or a small group of friends who are looking to explore the idyllic location of the Llyn Peninsula. Enter the property, and step into the wonderfully bright and sunny conservatory offering the most gorgeous place to sit and relax after a busy day. Continue into the living/dining room, and you will find even more comfortable seating alongside a beautiful inglenook fireplace and woodburning stove. The TV and Wi-Fi will mean you can keep up to date with your latest shows, and there is plenty of entertainment on cold wet evenings.

Outside, there is plenty of off-road parking available as well as spacious enclosed gardens. There is a patio area with a large table and chairs too, so you can enjoy some al fresco dining during the summer months. This detached holiday cottage, resting within its own grounds, is just a short walk away from the picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed in the Snowdonia National Park, where you can see the beautiful architecture of Pont-y-Pair Bridge, overlooking the flowing waters of Afon Llugwy. Also nearby is the Conwy Valley Railway Museum, where you can discover the local history and take a ride on the miniature railway around the beautifully landscaped grounds.

The more adventurous of the group can catch the Sherpa Bus from the village and travel to Pen-y-Pass, where you will find the beginning of three of the most popular routes to the summit of Mount Snowdon. If that still isn’t enough adrenaline for you, you can take a trip to the nearby Zip World Forest, a treetop adventure course set in a stunning woodland, where you can experience the UK’s only alpine coaster as well as Europe’s tallest swing, Skyride. When the excitement of the mountains all gets too much for you, it’s only a short drive to the seaside town of Llandudno, where you can walk along the promenade and soak in the sea views.
